(a) Assessment of the mooring/towing fittings against OP Notice to Shipping No. N-1-2020;
(b) Submission of a preliminary revised mooring arrangement to Panama Canal Authority for confirmation;
(c) Design of under deck reinforcements and structural drawings for all mooring/towing fitting modifications;
(d) Revised Mooring Arrangement Drawing;
(e) Submission and follow up of Class approval process.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, kindly note that our Design Approach of under deck reinforcements and structural drawings for all mooring/towing fitting modifications using F.E.A. (Finite Element Analysis), when/where deemed necessary, besides the Advanced Beam Theory Analysis. This approach, when applies, carries the extra development cost, however will certainly reduce final approval reinforcement weight for the benefit of the Owners.
